Hard Times

When people have said that the first weeks aren’t always easy….they weren’t kidding. Last night and today have been quite difficult just trying to figure out how to make Olivia happy. Even after we have checked all the usual things (feeding, dirty diaper, warmth) she still cries, and cries, and cries. I don’t want to miss these times, but at times like this, I wish I could miss them.
Not the nicest Valentine’s Day, huh? Surely Olivia must sleep some! We are thinking of you all!
If it makes you feel better my dog pee’d on the bed the other night and I had to sleep on the couch till the sheets were clean! Good luck with this in the future!
Who’s this imposter – this “Uncle Steve” (the previous person who responded)? Olivia really does have an Uncle Steve (me – Stephen), and now someone is pretending to be me! I barely had a chance to be an uncle, and now I’ve been replaced!
